| Also be sure to think about the thickness of your board. Many newer boards are using 3/4" cores for better float but they can react more sluggishly. We've combated this problem by creating a much deeper, sharper rail and have found good responsiveness even at 1". If you're not always riding the biggest waves, we suggest you go bigger for a better time. If your waves come with a punch, 1/2" may be enough. But please be realistic. Don't buy something a pro would use in Cabo if you live in cocoa and MIGHT see a couple of decent sets a year. We'd rather you have fun. |
| Lets face it every rider is different, and their boards should be just as unique. Maybe you're a pro dodging double-overheads in exotic lands...or maybe you just like to have fun on the rare occasion the surf's up in your backyard. Either way you need something that will make you the happiest doing whatever it is you do. We do offer a couple of "standard" models, but we pride ourselves on being a custom company and will want your input when creating your board. There are many factors that influence how your board will handle and what conditions it will be suited for. These are some of the more basic and important things to think about...but don't worry if you're not sure, we'll be here to help!!! Below are the common measurements we use in shaping your board. Please be sure to give us all of these measurements when ordering so we can give you exactly what you need. If your have something of your own design you'd like to have built just send us your plans by email! |
